Campus Involvement

We LOVE being active and involved within campus and our Greek community! Here's a peek at a few of our favorite events that we participate in on campus!

Intramurals always give us something to look forward to during the fall and spring semester! In the fall semester, our main sport is flag football, and softball in the spring. We love cheering on our AOII sisters as they play against the various teams on Southeastern's campus! 

Homecoming Week

AOII women also participate in various Greek activities throughout the school year, some of those being Homecoming Week.

Homecoming Week is full of fun competitions, one of our favorite being "Lipsync". Each sorority and fraternity pairing are given a theme to the dance routine they will perform, and they compete against each other to win points that go towards their overall total to determine who will be the homecoming champs at the end of the week! In the Fall of 2023, AOII and Sig Tau placed first in the competition!

We were honored to have two outstanding AOII women represent us on homecoming court last year with our Homecoming Queen Maddie Grippi, crowned for the 2023-2024 school year. We are so proud to have such a beautiful soul representing AOII and SLU!

Greek Week

Greek Week is a fun-filled week during which all of the councils throughout Greek life come together in the spirit of Greek bonds and spend a week celebrating the joy of being in a Greek organization! 

Big Event

Each year, Southeastern Louisiana University hosts a campus-wide community day during which students gather in an effort to help different places throughout the surrounding community. Our organization participates each year, and it is so rewarding to see how our campus body can come together to make such an impact on the surrounding community. 

Pi Party

One of our favorite times of the year is when our semi-annual "Pi Party" comes around, celebrating those sisters who excelled acaedmically in the previous semester. Our Pi Party is held at a local pizzaria, and we are able to invite as many professors and campus personell to celebrate with us. We are so grateful for everything that these people do for us on campus, and free pizza is the least we can do to celebrate them and all of their hard work and dedication! And of course, in the spring semester Pi Party always falls on March 14th, otherwise known as 3.14. :)

We also thoroughly enjoy supporting other organizations on campus in their pursuit of promoting their philanthropy or cause. We participate in many events throughout the semester that support our fellow peers!
